MCIN is working with Manchester based Deaf actress Ali Briggs who is creating her own blog.
Ali is probably best known for her role as Emily Bishop’s Deaf niece Freda in ITV’s Coronation Street (which won the award for Best Portrayal of the Lives and Viewpoints of Disabled People on Television at the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation (RADAR) People of the Year Awards 2005).

Ali will be updating the blog on a regular basis using video in BSL (British Sign Language) as well as text and images.
